WHAT IS HALOPACK?

OBJECTIVE
Collaborative partnership with Halopack to generating and refining numerous concepts with sustainable packaging using MAP technologies.
BRAINSTORMING & RESEARCH
To start we deep dived into Halopack to learn about the company and their products. Next, in a collaborative brainstorm session our class developed over ​200 ideas of potential market applications. We also researched markets sizes and consumer needs.

SKETCHING CONCEPTS
To begin I sketched out 10 concepts that could be greatly improved by new packaging.
NARROWING THE FOCUS
Aptar select 3 concepts to continue development on.
Petal Parcel is packaging for flowers to safely be handle in stores and during shipping and handling.
Booze Box was created as a cocktail kit that could be sold as a subscription of different cocktails that included all the ingredients for the drink.
Select Set was developed as a test kit for a variety of products that ranged from zinc for surfers to makeup products.
MARKET RESEARCH
In 2022 the sales of alcohol in the United States surpassed
pre-pandemic levels at 259.8 billion U.S. dollars.
It is reported that on average alcohol consumers have 4 drinks a week.
In 2023, 84.9% of people ages 18 and older reported that they drank alcohol at some point in their lifetime.
Current cocktail kits on the market are not supplied at well known stores.
Most kits require alcohol or some supplies to be bought separately.
A large portion are infusion kits and not cocktails.
PROTOTYPING
The Booze Box was chosen as the final concept to continue with. I continued to developed prototypes adjust dimensions to better suite Aptar and the buyer.
